Axiota® Announces New Hires and Promotions

Today Axiota Animal Health, a global company focused on developing products to help cattle thrive during transition and stress, announced additions to their commercial teams, promotions and leadership alignments to support business growth.

New hires
Rodrigo Carranza has been named the director of U.S. dairy sales. He has more than 20 years of experience in the global animal health and nutrition industry with Cargill, Zoetis and Boehringer Ingelheim. Carranza is a native of Bolivia and is passionate about health and food security. He is based in Idaho and will provide leadership to Axiota’s growing dairy business.

Devin Griffith joins Axiota as a technical sales representative in the non-confined cattle segment serving California. She grew up on a family ranch in northern California and southern Oregon, and graduated from Oklahoma State University. Griffith most recently served as a cattle territory sales representative in Oregon and northern California for Merck Animal Health.

June Jacobson has been named technical sales representative, responsible for non-confined cattle business in west Texas and New Mexico. She has a master’s degree in ruminant nutrition from Tarleton State University and joins Axiota following previous roles at Livestock Nutrition Center and Seaboard Foods. Jacobson will utilize her nutrition background to support cow-calf and stocker customers.

Dalli Snyder has joined Axiota as an inside sales representative. She is an Idaho native and has expansive inside sales experience. Snyder was previously with Performance Livestock Analytics. She and her husband have a ranch where they raise cattle and train performance horses.

Allyson Sellers joins Axiota as an inside sales representative. She holds an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas and a bachelor’s degree from Southern Arkansas University. Sellers completed internships with both Merck Animal Health and Boehringer Ingelheim and is a native of Arkansas.

Jennifer Awick has been named sales operations analyst. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2011, and master’s degree in healthcare administration from Ohio University in 2016. Most of her career has been in data and analytics for the University of Cincinnati regional healthcare system, where she worked for a decade. Originally from southwest Ohio, where her parents live on their dairy and chicken farm, Awick now resides in Fort Collins, Colorado.

J. Free, chief commercial officer, United States, said, “2023 was a strong growth year for Axiota. Sales of Multimin® 90 and Lactipro® are growing significantly in all segments and our team is expanding to support that growth. I look forward to our new team member’s positive contributions to Axiota and the cattle industry.”

Promotions
Thomas Carper has been promoted to eastern regional sales manager, non-confined. He joined the company in January 2017 as a technical sales representative. Carper will lead a team of eight sales representatives covering the eastern United States.

Michael Bliss has been promoted to technical sales representative serving southern Indiana and Ohio, Kentucky and western Tennessee. Bliss has advanced through multiple roles within the organization and will bring knowledge and innovation to his customer base.

Leadership alignments
Tom Meyer will now serve as director – non-confined cattle business, United States. He  joined Axiota as director of U.S. dairy sales in 2022 following a 25-year career with Zoetis. Meyer will lead the non-confined team, and brings significant experience to his new role.

Heath Landis will assume a newly created role of director of distribution and channel management. He will support our distribution partners and manage the Multimin 90 channel. Landis most recently served as eastern regional sales manager. He brings a wealth of knowledge about marketing and selling Multimin 90 to his new role.
